Cable glands may be used on all types of electrical power, control, instrumentation, data and telecommunications cables.
• Unique Independent Inner Sealing
• Secure Armour Termination
• Outer Seal
• Proven Internally Enclosed Deluge Seal
• Environmental protection – by sealing on the outer cable sheath, excluding dust and moisture from the electrical or instrument enclosure.
• Earth continuity – in the case of armoured cables, when the cable gland has a metallic construction. In this case cable glands may be tested to ensure that they can withstand an appropriate peak short circuit fault current.
• Holding force – on the cable to ensure adequate levels of mechanical cable ‘pull out’ resistance.
• Additional sealing – on the part of the cable entering the enclosure, when a high degree of ingress protection is required.
• Additional environmental sealing – at the cable entry point, maintaining the ingress protection rating of the enclosure with the selection of applicable accessories dedicated to performing this function.
-60°C to +130°C (standard)
• CMP industrial cable glands conform to the latest international standards — including EN 62444, IEC 62444 and the more rigorous BS6121:Part 1:1989.
• Our industrial armoured and unarmoured cable glands are manufactured to the highest quality under a third-party approved quality management system conforming to ISO 9001:2015.

When the cable gland fits the cable but the connecting thread differs, the best solution may be to use a thread conversion adaptor, especially when schedules are critical and time is of the essence.
• CMP accessories conform to the latest international standards — including EN 62444, IEC 62444 and the more rigorous BS6121:Part 1:1989.
• The range is particularly suited to large-scale construction projects where a high volume of cables of varying types and sizes is used.
CMP industrial, marine and explosive atmosphere products in this range are offered with a host of internationally recognised bodies including ATEX, IECEx, cCSAus, UL and more.
Each of these products is available in a combination of different thread forms and sizes including metric, PG, NPT, BSP etc.

Cable cleats are available for a number of different applications such as rail, underground, oil and gas, mining and petrochemical.
• The range is tested in accordance with IEC 61914 to ensure that, regardless of the cable formation used on the installation, there is a suitable cable cleat.
• CMP cable cleats provide the necessary levels of resistance to electromechanical forces, where declared, and in addition achieve the following safety measures:
-Support cables and conductors.
-Reduce the mechanical load the cable may be exposed to under its own weight.
-Reduce the mechanical load the cable termination may be exposed to.
