Low smoke and fume cable

Use

Intended for applications requiring circuit integrity during a fire mainly used in fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems in schools, hospitals, cinemas and railways

Features & Benefits

• Cross-linked insulating material which is capable of operating at a temperature of 90°c.
• The conduit wiring cables are manufactured to bs 7211 whereas armoured cables are manufactured to bs 6724 or iec 60502-1 specifications.
• Low smoke and low acid gas fume emission in fire conditions
• Improved fire protection that reduces the risk to building occupants
• Slow to ignite, burn slowly and most importantly, emit much-reduced amounts of smoke and fumes during fire allowing people to escape.
